I wonder–do religions that take these two sides as the same (a two headed coin, yin and yang)–do they deal with evil better than Christians? Does it make more sense to them? Can they live with it better?
This is going to sound arrogant to non-Christian readers, but applying vaguely reformed thinking to your question makes me think that Christianity's “already / not yet” is the redeemed version of yin and yang: it's yin and yang plus hope. The key difference between Christianity and dualist religions is that Christianity posits an ancient beauty and hopes for the recuperation of this ancient beauty. I'd rather live in the already / not yet tension: yin and yang feels like resignation.

So true… I think the little local sub/ roast beef shops are a northeast thing in general. Anywhere else in the country you gotta go to Arby's, which is pretty much mediocre. I know there's a few Arby's over here, but its just not that popular. Why would anybody go there when you could get a 10x better roast beef at Billy's which is right in your neighborhood.

Trying to get under Kevin Durant’s skin, a New York heckler first calls him "Baby LeBron." Then a small group taunts him by chanting, of all things, "Russell Westbrook." Durant had the last laugh, though, sending the game to overtime with a 3, then winning it. Watch Kemba Walker in action. He does a lot of great stuff. My concern: In the pick and roll, he’s just about always doubled, which sometimes leaves teammates (either the roll man, or somebody on the wing) incredibly open. I hope he sees that, and is deciding to shoot anyway. Because if he doesn’t see that, that’s tough to learn. And in the NBA, where almost everybody can shoot and easy baskets are hard to come by, you simply have to see that guy and get him the ball. Reality TV producers looking to connect in the NBA: Stan Van Gundy would make one hell of an interesting show. He’s about as outspoken as they get, and his brother brags impressively about Stan’s legendary free throw shooting ability. The kings of the cheap…
