What's Happening in Serre Chevalier?

When the Meijer in Champaign, Illinois opened, my friend Marcus (from England) was relieved because he could then immediately determine if people were classy or “scrubbers”. Classy people would say they were going to the “my-er” while a typical scrubber took a trip to the “my-ers” (plural or possessive I never figured out).

I'm afraid DS had fallen into the scrubber category.

Side note: I just realized that “scrubbers” refers to dometic work.

I've been told that even without them actually catching the mice and rats that the scent of there being a cat in the building will drive the rodents away. I think it must work because even though I have a big woodpile behind my studio apartment and have seen rats and mice in there, I've never seen a sign of them inside where my cat resides.

Of course, my cat considers herself above catching rodents – she has no interest in anything without feathers and longs for the day I will let her out of the house to go after the flying fiends.
