R – Jon and Kate have obviously gotten a lot of negative publicity lately, and I don't disagree with what you've said, but I think it significant that so much of Christendom has fueled this whole show. These two parents have major heart issues that are not being addressed, and really can't be addressed without the dissolution of the show. There are so many larger issues here, where does one begin? But I agree with the excellent article in Christianity Today which stated that the church really only became alarmed about this show once the cracks started to appear. This is the real tragedy; the lack of biblical discernment and truth associated with this whole sorry episode. We, as God's people, have been enticed and led away by the god of entertainment culture, and thus, our idolatry has enabled the larger culture to run away with it. And of course, as you pointed out, the children are the losers.
