Just had another amazing dinner at my current favorite restaurant, Duo, in Denver.
"Washington, DC, Metro Station, on a cold January morning in 2007. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approximately 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes, a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried to meet his schedule…"

joining RT today was a mistake. the station's boss, simonyan, promised over and over that the station was going to be independent. when it became obvious to me that the station was pure propaganda, i resigned to protest the censorship. when i joined the station they weren't yet on the air—–i was naive and foolish to believe that the station was going to be fair.
WPIX/CH. 11 enters the 5 p.m. news race next Monday, and the folks there aren’t shooting for the entire audience in the hour – just a piece of it. That’s because, given the competition, a small piece will give the station a respectable performance in a tough time slot.

WHAT IS BRONXNET? BRONXNET is the private, not-for-profit community television station serving the borough of the Bronx. The Station was established in 1988, under an agreement between the City of New York and Cablevision of New York City. BRONXNET programs four channels-67, 68, 69, and 70-on the Cablevision system in the Bronx. Each channel presents a unique brand of programming: Channel 67 focuses on public affairs programs produced by the station. 67&aposs programs keep viewers up-to-date on local issues and face-to-face with the borough&aposs representatives. Channel 68 features arts and entertainment programs including many that spotlight local artists. Channel 69 includes a host of foreign language programs of special interest to the various nationalities that make up the borough. Channel 70 is largely dedicated to informational programs produced by local organizations as well as inspirational programs produced by local churches.
