Serre Che Luc Alphand 2011… sur les traces du Tour de France
I read your title and thought, “Uh oh, the conversation with the oncologist didn't go well.” Not so!Thanks for sharing an awesome human-interest story, Mike. I can understand why you are so impressed with the character of your doc. His humble action reminds me of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples. Foul odors, filth, and crap did not stop Him from serving.
I'm a fan of TOS (“the original series” to all you noobs) and have seen every episode. Also, I'm a fan of the new film. In fact, the new film was what got me into Star Trek to begin with. Sure no one could ever live up to the Shat, but Chris Pine did a pretty good Kirk.
So to all the purists out there, quit your complaining. In fact you should enjoy the fact the there are 1) new fans of Star Trek 2) that Star Trek is still alive and relevant in today's modern entertainment culture 3) the most important fact. New Star Trek content!
RT rel=”nofollow” Only in America would hot dog eating be a competitive sport and Michele Bachmann a competitive candidate.
I'm the booth with Hot Dog! "IIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTTT" Lmao
joining RT today was a mistake. the station's boss, simonyan, promised over and over that the station was going to be independent. when it became obvious to me that the station was pure propaganda, i resigned to protest the censorship. when i joined the station they weren't yet on the air—–i was naive and foolish to believe that the station was going to be fair.
Glad to be stirring up bugs. I look forward to their full flowering.
Shared life. Yes. Boy do we need that. Perhaps the most wonderfully mystical prayers of Paul's is that “Together with all the saints” we might grasp the love of Christ.
There are many reasons for a privatised Christianity though – our entertainment culture is a significant one. But only one. It's interesting that our evangelical definitions of spirituality were privatised before our cultural definitions of leisure were!
SoulStock is this Fri. Aug. 12th on 4301 Germantown Ave. Its a free outdoor live music festival from 5-11pm…over 25 performers
