Hi – I'm building a Pergola on my house in Serre Chevalier in France at the moment. I like your photos, but above all, I was really impressed with you using a blog platform as your site. I'm a real WordPress fan (and so are search engines). If you'd like to know more about different ways to 'Get #1 in Google' have a look at my site. Meanwhile I'll sort a blog on the evolution of my Pergola.
Thank you for posting the 45 by The Underground Sunshine. I liked their version better than the one by The Beatles. I did not know that the song was #1 in Saint Charles, Missouri. There was only one radio station that was there. I think the call letters were KIRL. It was a rock station for a while and then it became a gospel station. I remember the traffic reports from Lou Cooley on that station although KXOX was my favorite station. I love your blog and read it all of the time.

I disagree with this post Karim… IMHO Meen are the smartest, wittiest, funniest Lebanese band currently in the local music scene (and for me, internationally). They don't fall in the 'wannabe artsy' aspect. Their music has character while being very authentic. I was at Fête de la Musique but very sad I missed Deir El Amar–wish there were some pics!!

Dear Stephen,
I thought as the leader of the AMP you should see what just surfaced on Facebook. Hoping the TEAM had a fantastic day.
Ain't no mountain high enough
I admire life coach Stephen McGhee for doing this daring climb to wake people up to the role of the beauty of physical exercise-the fun of it. It's open to everybody. It's amazing..
There is a full article and a great picture of you on Facebook. Be blessed-

Geeneus has spoken about his long standing involving with pirate radio institution Rinse FM. Founded some 17 years ago, Rinse FM has prospered while other pirate radio stations have fallen away. Continually changing and evolving to reflect new styles, the station currently broadcasts everything from dubstep to house and straight up UK Funky. With the emphasis on bass, Rinse FM has reached a new prominence thanks to its association with artists such as Skream, Benga, Dizzee Rascal and of course Katy B, who is signed to the station’s label. Rinse FM founder Geeneus recently stepped out of the shadows to comment on the station’s anniversary and their new-found legal status. "I think Rinse has the same outlook as a small child" he told The Guardian. "They don’t get influenced by anything. They just like what they like." Continually moving forward, Geeneus attributes this to the station’s enduring influence. "Every pirate radio station has their time, the moment when they’re on top," he…

BBC cuts may signal the end for either Baker’s London 94.9 show or Robert Elms’s lunchtime programme Danny Baker’s BBC London radio show is facing the axe as part of cuts to the station’s budget totalling £1m. BBC London 94.9 is having to cut its budget by 25% – understood to be equivalent to more than 20 members of staff – as a result of the changes announced in BBC director general Mark Thompson’s Delivering Quality First review on Thursday. It will also have to syndicate an afternoon programme to surrounding BBC local stations including BBC Radio Kent, BBC Essex and BBC Sussex and Surrey. The shakeup means the London station will have to axe one of the afternoon shows presented by either Baker – who airs between 3pm and 5pm – or Robert Elms, whose lunchtime programme airs between midday and 3pm. "Nothing like having your show axed under an initiative called Delivering Quality First to let you know how valued you are," said Baker on Twitter. "Just off up the end of the garden with 3…
