Participants started at either the Station in Chantemerle or La Grotte in Villenueve for bacon butties and a beer. As soon as the lifts were open we all ventured up to Aravet and from there, travel everywhere, including Briancon and ending up … Oh well there is always next year.

As you drive from Briancon into Le Monetier les Bains, at 1500m the highest village in the chain that makes up the station known as Serre Chevalier there is a little hot spring fed fountain thing, the “les bains” in the full title. …
