www.SkiSchoolApp.com The Ski Resort of Serre Chevalier, home of Darren Turner, ski instructor and presenter of the Ski School Series of Apps for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad in all its beauty. Long, sunny groomers to work on your ski technique and for large, leisurely carved turns, steep bumps runs, awesome off-piste (when properly equipped and accompanied by a professional), good access for beginners and, when it’s snowing, tree-lined runs for better visibility and some of the best tree-skiing in Europe on a powder day. In this video Darren Turner and pro-Freeskier Andrew Gowans (one of the three founders of Elate Media) show a little of what Serre-Che’ has to offer.

Great video Paul with smashing editing!
Most of it is around the Cucumelle and La Balme. Just so happened to session it that day.
The first song is Kings of Leon with Milk, and the last is Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap
Great vid. Was the last bit in the Cucumelle valley off La Balme?
What’s that sound men?
@alextlbass Yep, Serre Chevalier has a great vibe, and and when the snow is good there’s great skiing both on and off the piste.
This is the first place I ever went skiing… it bring back memories… now I go to the US to ski
(, I kinda miss skiing in europe.

@ConnerKyleAndJim It’s a lovely place to ski, glad you had fun!
OMG I have just been there! i -3 that place!
@brianl9944 Serre Chevalier is a beautiful place – and full of history, armies through the centuries have marched through the Montgenevre pass and Hannibal is supposed to have marched his elephants through here (the red rocks on some of the surrounding mountains are said to have been stained that colour by their blood). Having said that there’s a lot of great places to ski out there and the best hill is always the one nearest to home!
@smagau If you do, look up Darren!
@9991adegem The Dolomites are a beautiful place to ski, the landscape is just amazing.

The guide is for iPhone *only*. You have an iPod touch?! You followed the wrong guide then. :O
But dun worry, just use iTunes to restore your iPod touch to factory fresh condition, and start over with the right guide for iPod touch.
And oh, this is an iTouch:
So… unless you really have an iTouch, say iPod touch.
Yeah Serre-Che
