It’s nice and quite living in Serre Chevalier, only birds tweet, life revolves around the opening hours of the post office or pharmacy. It’s a different pace and things are calm. when i went skiing w/ my brothers, i was a constant source of amusement for them – so i can relate!!! when i was first learning to ski – i think the worst part was the rope life thingy on the bunny slope – where you held on the rope and it pulled you up the incline at a pretty slow pace – you could have probably walked sideways up the hill faster … yeah i never failed to fall a few times while holding that stinkin' rope
i did much better with the actual ski lift
although i will admit to falling a few times when i got off the lift at the top of the mtn … not a promising start to the trip back down 
glad you had a good trip – can't wait to hear all the fun stories!!

Actually, no, they're not “free”, the Post Office intends for the people requesting the boxes to use them to mail things through the Post Office, so they get paid for the box through the postage on it. I can see how they would be angry for people to take new boxes and invert them to mail with other carriers.
But once they've been used as the Post Office intended, then they should be available for recycling and re-use.]]>
